PEPP Client and Family Library
When
dealing with the issue of psychosis, questions inevitably arise
in the minds of clients, parents, siblings, and extended families.
This being true, the need for a PEPP resource center is clear.
It took almost one year for a dedicated team to complete the project.
The PEPP Client and Family Library officially opened in September
2003.
The library is an incredible place to go to relax and learn more
about the subject of mental illness. For example, one can learn
about how to cope with their medical condition, or how to understand
what went wrong. You can also listen to relaxing music, watch
videos, and even look up some interesting courses to take at local
schools. For example program guides for Fanshawe College, the
University of Western Ontario and the Wheable Centre for Adult
Education are available.
In addition to having current information available, the PEPP
Client and Family Library is going to rotate art and poetry displays
on the walls for people to admire or purchase. Feel free to drop
by on a regular basis whenever you visit the PEPP clinic. We are
always adding new resources, so we hope that you will always find
something new and interesting to explore.
I
hope to see you soon.
